Katy's Havanese is excited about bringing this wonderful breed to Utah and surrounding states. Our Havanese puppies are born and raised in our home and get lots of love and socialization. We treat our dogs with love and care, as part of our family!
We follow the breeding standards and practices of the American Kennel Club and the Havanese Club of America. The dogs used in our breeding program have all health screenings including recent CERF, OFA certified for hips and patellas, and BAER tested for normal hearing. Whether you are looking for a potential show pet, or a loving addition to your family, we would be excited to help bring one of these wonderful Havanese puppies to your home!
Havanese are very playful, loving and are full of energy. The Havanese is a wonderful breed that loves people, especially children and is considered the perfect companion dog. They range in size from around 8 1/2 to 11 inches (at the shoulder) and weigh from 8 to 13 pounds. Havanese are long haired, non shedding dogs, with no dog odor (hypoallergenic), and are very good for people with allergies. They come in a wide assortment of colors both solid and multi-color combinations. Common colors include white, champagne, sable, chocolate and black. Havanese is considered a rare breed, it is estimated that are only 7,000 in the world.
